A cantilever chair from the Slezák works: the seat and back are held in space by bent steel tubing with no rear legs, so the chair flexes slightly as you sit. The principle was introduced by Mart Stam in the mid-1920s and Slezák made it in the thousands. Seat and back in beech plywood. Restored; the price is per piece.
